Biographical Info

Gregg Harris is a Christian husband and father of seven and grandfather of five.  In addition to his college training at the University of Dayton and Wright State University he has over over 36 years experience in Bible teaching ministry. He is best known for helping Christians of all ages understand how their home and family life serves as an embassy to represent and advance God’s kingdom until Christ returns.

His first-born son, Joshua Harris is the author of I Kissed Dating Goodbye. His second son, Joel Harris, is an accomplished musician, music instructor and worship leader who trains others to lead worship. His 20-year old twin sons, Alex & Brett Harris, are the co-founders of TheRebelution.com and best-selling co-authors of Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations.

Gregg himself is also well known as a conference speaker and author.  His work in the early 1980s helped to launch the Christian home-schooling movement. His seminars have served over 180,000 families. He is the author of The Christian Home School (1988 & 1995) and The Noble Planner Time Management System (1994). He is the Founding President and Director of Noble Institute and a member of the Board of Directors for The Home School Foundation which helps families home school through hard times. Gregg’s wife Sono Sato Harris, passed away on July 4th of 2010. He and his three youngest children continue to live in Gresham, OR, where he serves as a preaching evangelist, a church planting pastor and teaching elder for Gresham Household of Faith.
