Become a Seminar Champion in your local church, school, study group, support group or organization.

Save 10% on your entire group’s registration fees and earn a free pass for yourself or a friend by establishing a Registration Group from your church or organization. Simply click “Yes” next to Group Registration and enter the First & Last Name of your Group Champion in the field when you register online. (Enter your own name as the Group Champion if you are starting your new group with your own registration.) Then, everyone who includes that name in the Group Champion field when they register will receive an immediate 10% discount on their own registration fee. Consider ordering books and resources to help prepare yourself and your family for the seminar:

Two to three weeks before your seminar weekend:
  • Make child-care arrangements for younger children (if applicable).
  • Plan to wear comfortable clothes (e.g. modest business casual).
  • Bring a sweater or jacket (in case of air-conditioned facilities or inclement weather).
  • Pack notebooks and pens for keeping track of important insights and ideas.
  • Make it clear to everyone in your family that the seminar sessions will be “gadget free zones.” (e.g. no gaming, texting. web-browsing, tweeting, emailing or other distractions during the sessions (unless it is an emergency). Don’t waste your time in the seminar by getting distracted.
One week before your seminar weekend:
  • Write down (separately or together) what you would like to accomplish during the seminar such as “better communication in our family,” “a clearer vision for our future,” “stronger teamwork among siblings,” or “more tools and fewer toys in our lives.”
  • Pray for God’s favor on your time during the seminar and afterwards as you put what you learn into practice.
The day before the start of the seminar weekend (Thursday)
  • Print out directions to the hotel and/or restaurants in the area, or load this information into your GPS or smart phone.
  • Bring cash for coffee, drinks, and snacks during breaks.
  • Bring checkbook and/or a major credit card for use in investing in on-site books, t-shirts and other helpful resources.
First day of your seminar weekend (Friday Evening):
  • Dress comfortably (e.g. modest “nice casual” is always a good choice. Dress in layers to adjust to temperature changes).
  • Try not to argue with your spouse or your teen(s) on your way to the seminar. Satan would love to sour your attitudes before you arrive. (If you do argue, repent and forgive one another quickly. Don’t let interpersonal stress cheat you out of a life-changing weekend.)
  • Start the seminar with an open, willing, teachable spirit and an enthusiastic, grateful, attitude of heart.
