Yes, we rely on help from local volunteers at every Households of Strength Seminar, and volunteers may attend at a reduced rate or with no registration fee at all, depending on their role. Volunteers help with the tasks of greeting conference attendees, registering them quickly, and making materials available throughout the weekend. Click HERE. for information.

Our seminars are being held in local church facilities. Therefore, we no longer offer any discounts for area hotels or motels. We suggest that you search the area for nearby hotels and motels on the web or make use of an on-line hotel discount booking service (e.g. Priceline.com, Orbitz.com, etc.).

The Households of Strength Seminars are “nice casual” in nature. Dress comfortably. Some of us are more comfortable in suits, while others are more comfortable in jeans. We do ask that everyone be considerate about issues of modesty. Discuss this as a family and plan to serve your fellow attendees by your good taste.

When you check in at the seminar, you will receive name-tags and workbooks which will include space for taking notes. You will need to bring a pen or pencil. You may also bring a Bible if you wish. If you are interested, you will want to come prepared to invest in relevant resources from our on-site book store. Noble Institute accepts cash, checks and most major credit cards at the book tables.

The registration fee for the The Households of Strength Seminar does not include any snacks or meals. However, in some cases our local hosts may offer refreshments and box lunches during the breaks as a fundraiser for some worthy cause. If so, we will post that information on the Dates & Locations of each seminar.
