Well Folks, Portland Has Also Been Cancelled |
Here we go again. I have been watching and waiting to see what God would have me do with regard to my Portland, Oregon seminar. In light of all the variables pressing in on me at this time, I have decided to cancel it as well. It is not that I am depressed. As I said before, I just need to put more time into my responsibilities as a father and a pastor.
The seminar scheduled for my hometown here in Portland, OR on August 26-27 was going to be an opportunity for me to create a DVD of the material. But I don’t think I can create a video of the quality needed for publication. I will reevaluate next year. I am not giving up. I am making a decision as to how to best use the time I have in light of my current obligations.
So, as of today, all registrations for my Households of Strength Seminar have been stopped. Letters and emails will go out to all those who have preregistered for any of the seminars offering full refunds or full credit toward any Noble Institute books and DVDs.We will make everything right by everyone. Please help me to get the word out about this change of plans. You can no longer register for the Households of Strength Seminar through our website.
Please note that my son’s Do Hard Things Conferences are still going on as planned, so please make plans to attend those as usual and tell all your friends to do so as well. They had over 100 young people stand for salvation in their San Diego conference this last weekend! They are doing a great job and I am so grateful for the encouragement and support of all my children. Just go HERE to find out more and to register online.
If you would like to continue to follow what I am doing as a single father, pastor and author from here on out, please log on to www.nobleinstitute.org. I will be blogging there as circumstances allow.
I am also still serving as a Teaching Elder for Gresham Household of Faith here in Gresham, Oregon. Please visit us whenever you are in the Portland, Oregon area. We are a family-integrated church attempting to reform the way we approach youth ministry by restoring parents to their biblical place in the lives of their children.
This step back is by no means the end of my vision for ministry. Only a respite to regain strength and establish clearer direction for the battles ahead.
Life is hard, but God is good.
Your servant in Christ,
Gregg Harris
